My interest in Middle Eastern music and the Arabic culture inspired me to create this evocative musical tribute of a long forgotten love. It expresses the longing and pathos of the Arabic culture as well as the rich passion and exotic flavors of the musical motifs and instruments. This song evokes visions of the Arabian nights, a mystic rose, an era fragrant with Arabic Bakhoors, the mystery of the desert sands, beautiful mosques, and exotic dancers. Some of my music has been influenced by Asian, and middle Eastern music and is a cultural tribute to expand more peace, unity, tolerance, acceptance and appreciation of those diverse and culturally rich countries.
